Street Beet is a 100% vegan food pop-up owned and operated by Nina Paletta and Meghan Shaw. Our mission is to continuously reimagine vegan food as we know it, pairing creativity and passion to offer a dining experience that is approachable and delicious for all. Our goal is to provide our fellow Detroiters with affordable, nostalgic vegan comfort food with a focus on allergen-friendly options. Street Beet is competing in the Comerica Hatch Detroit Contest in hopes of being awarded $100,000. This money will help us open doors at our very first Brick and Mortar, a full-service restaurant in the North Corktown neighborhood. The move into this space will allow us to meet the growing demand of our clientele and expand into something even greater. Detroit is a versatile city, and we wish to help expand the food scene with a menu that reaches beyond what we currently have available to us. We are proud of the diversity at our events, and we wish to forever welcome guests into a comforting space that caters to all backgrounds.
