Meta Physica

Meta Physica Massage was established in 2013 by Jenaveve Biernat LMT with the belief that self care is a not a luxury but a necessity. The mission of Meta Physica Wellness Center is to bring affordable, preventative health care to every BODY. Originally located in Midtown Detroit, Meta Physica has outgrown the one room studio where it all started and now do to rapid growth, must expand. Our newly updated space will be located in Corktown. Meta Physica Massage will transition to Meta Physica Wellness Center offering therapeutic bodywork, full spectrum infrared saunas, a raw juice bar, an herbal apothecary and health inspired retail. In addition, meditation classes and community workshops will be offered.

By expanding Meta Physica, we aim to build a relaxing environment and offer affordable services to our community. We hope to activate the Bagley/Trumbull block by providing more retail, hospitality and service options. Our goal is to help the community grow by creating a gathering place for people to take charge of their health and wellness. This will offset the day to day stresses people endure while living within a rapidly transitioning city. Our expansion will allow us to offer community workshops.
