Angie is a partner in Ernst & Young’s Assurance Services practice and has extensive experience in serving both privately-held and SEC registered companies in a variety of industries, including automotive and manufacturing, life sciences and consumer products.
Angie currently serves as the Central Region Automotive and Transportation Assurance Leader as well as the EY Entrepreneur Of The Year Program Director for the Michigan and Northwest Ohio region, recognizing outstanding business leaders and family businesses in the community.
She is a Certified Professional Accountant (CPA) and completed a three year residency in the firm’s U.S. Professional Practice, with responsibility for SEC matters and accounting and technical issues.
Angie is a graduate of Michigan State University and the EY partner responsible for Michigan State University campus recruiting and faculty and alumni relations. She recently completed a three year term on the Michigan State University External Advisory Board for the Department of Accounting and Information Systems and has served as a guest lecturer for the Department.
She also serves on the Board of Directors of TechTown Detroit (a non-profit incubator that connects startups and emerging businesses) and on the Board of Directors of Hatch Detroit (a non-profit organization that supports entrepreneurs in the community) and as Treasurer of the Board of Directors of Dinosaur Hill Nature Preserve (a non-profit environmental education organization). She previously served on the Professional Ethics Task Force of the Michigan Association of Certified Public Accountants.
Angie and her husband, Matthew, have two children ages 9 and 11, and have lived and worked in the Detroit area their entire careers.
